It was a real pleasure to work with Mehmet again on developing a bespoke WordPress theme for Camden Town Unlimited, the organisation that supports the Camden Collective.
The goal of the build was to develop not just a bespoke website, but a genuine theme that could be used across a number of upcoming projects. Obviously this adds additional complications but it was great fun finding ways to maximise the flexibility in the back-end for a non-technical team.
The primary technical challenge was the development of a number of custom post type to allow easy management of key content such as “projects” and “team.” In addition, I used Advanced Custom Fields to make as much of the site editable as possible - for instance, the website colours, footer information and logos can all be changed in the back-end.
Otherwise it was just my favourite challenge, realising a handsome PSD design into a capable and responsive WordPress theme.
