I had the pleasure to work The Restoration Station team, part of the Spitalfields Crypt Trust on the development of a new WordPress website uniquely for Restoration Station. They had engaged a great designer and it was a great experience to try and brings his design to life.
The purpose of the site was to tell the Restoration Station story, as well as both showing off the restored furniture currently available and allowing visitors to easily donate their own furniture.
The build is a largely standard WordPress installation, built responsively on a Bootstrap grid framework. It also draws heavily on Custom Posts and Custom Fields to make it as easy to manage as possible in the back-end for a largely non-technical team.
